Paced for the beginner, our snowshoe trek will offer opportunities to experience this park’s incredible winter scenery. Learn about glaciers, keep an eye out for wildlife and be ready for fun!

What’s included? Private tour with an experienced, professional guide. Use of snowshoes/poles and leg gaiters.

Logistics: Winter travel at Mt. Rainier National Park, requires experience and familiarity with driving on icy and/or snow covered roads. The Park requires all vehicles to have tire chains even if your vehicle is AWD or 4WD. Tire chains can be rented at shops before the entrance to the Park.

We will meet at Whittaker Mountaineering in Ashford, WA where you will rent your pre-ordered tire chains and any other items you are renting for the day. Our meeting time here is 8:30am.

Bring your all National Parks pass if you have one. If not, I will pay your entrance fee when we arrive at the Park.
